AI represents the next paradigm shift in technology, enhancing productivity and creativity with new tools. And this seems consistent with IDC’s 2024 AI opportunity study, which states:  

 

Within the next 24 months, most organizations plan to expand beyond pre-built AI solutions to advanced AI workloads that are customized or custom built.  

 

As partners, these new use-cases create an opportunity to broaden the IP and services you offer your customers. Based on a partner profitability study from IDC: 

 

Partners generating one-quarter or more of their Microsoft-related revenue from AI are growing overall revenue at double the rate than partners that derive less than 25% of their Microsoft revenue from AI. 

 

Your customers range in AI maturity - from organizations that are just beginning explore AI, to those that are building agents unimodal to multimodal, for the most advanced capabilities. This market maturity is an opportunity to establish new and deeper customer relationships, centered on AI transformation and agentic AI based innovations.
