Thank you so much for posting this article. My name is Christina Parissi. I have severe spastic cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair. Although, I can use a keyboard and mouse, sometimes my hands get very tired and stiff. I have known Anthony for 9 years. We met at summer camp and Anthony agreed to help me co-direct and edit video footage that would become part of a documentary I made as my graduation requirement for college. We have remained very close and I have helped test Overjoyed extensively. I find it very useful just to give my hands a break from using the keyboard. I saw the new GUI last week, we found a few bugs and they have been noted to be fixed, but other than that the new GUI makes a huge difference in the user experience. The game, "Stardew Valley" has a co-op mode and Anthony and I use it to test Overjoyed functions together in real-time while using Discord calling to communicate with each other. I find it most useful with games that have a character walk in a diagonal direction ("Stardew Valley" has this) as I sometimes have trouble pushing two buttons at once. Like S and D for example. Anyone, regardless of their ability differences, should give Overjoyed a try and see how in can make their gaming life less stressful and more enjoyable.
I have yet to meet or talk to Jonah but I have heard amazing things about him. Congratulations, Anthony and Jonah (and everyone who will help test and provide feedback) for pushing game accessibility, forward and may you continue to have well-deserved success!
