A little more than a week ago, we made the latest version of System Center Configuration Manager generally available , and we are very excited that many of our customers already upgraded to it! To provide continuous innovation, we have already been working on the next set of features that will be coming to Configuration Manager soon. As we do this, we are using the System Center Configuration Manager Technical Preview 4 as the vehicle for you to try out these new updates. Today, we are excited to bring you update 1512. We would like you to try new features in your lab environment and provide feedback to us before these improvements become generally available.
Some of the new features that are available in this update include:
-
Windows 10 Device Health Attestation support - With this preview, customers are able to view the status of Windows 10 Device Health Attestation in the Configuration Manager console, to ensure that client computers have trustworthy BIOS, TPM, and boot software. You can learn more about Windows 10 health attestation, in this TechNet article.
-
User acceptance of terms and conditions – In this preview, customers who use Configuration Manager integrated with Microsoft Intune (hybrid) can view which users have accepted the terms and conditions configured by IT and which users have not, directly from the Configuration Manager console.
In addition, today’s update introduces a “What’s New” area in the console, where you can find information about new features and scenarios to try. You are also encouraged to use it in order to see which of the new scenarios you have completed for each feature. We will continue to update the “What’s New” content as we add functionality to technical preview updates.
In order to enable update 1512 for this Technical Preview, go to the “Updates and Servicing” node in your System Center Configuration Manager Technical Preview 4 environment. We hope you enjoy this update and would love to hear your feedback! To report any issues you encounter with the latest functionality included in this update, please use Connect .
