As many of you already know , at this year’s TechEd we’re going to take the wraps off a range of new products and services, and I am very excited to be delivering the keynote address at both TechEd North America and TechEd Europe . I cannot wait to talk about – and demo! – some of the remarkable new capabilities and functionalities we are going to deliver to the IT industry. TechEd has historically been one of Microsoft’s most important conferences for IT professionals and enterprise developers – and this year is going to be a genuinely must-see event. If you haven’t done it yet, take the time to register now for New Orleans or Madrid , or mark your calendars to watch these events live or on-demand. For North America , you can watch my remarks on June 3 live here , and on-demand here . In Europe , you can watch the keynote live on June 25 here , and on-demand on the following Tuesday and Thursday here . I can’t wait to come back to these two great cities – in particular, my wife and I visited Madrid for a week back in 1998, and it remains one of our all-time favorite vacations. In fact, after living in Puerto Rico for two years in the late ‘80s, I still speak fluent Spanish. Me encanta España! Also: To better fit the needs of each individual attendee, this year there are nine learning tracks to choose from, covering topics like Data Platform & Business Intelligence, Modern Datacenter, Windows Azure or Windows Client & Access Management. I’ve included below some information provided by the TechEd events team that has been put together to help you make the most of your time in New Orleans or Madrid. TechEd sold out last year so make sure you register now for New Orleans (June 3-6) or Madrid (June 25-28) to ensure you don’t miss out on everything this event has to offer. See you there! - Brad

- The Schedule Builder: One great tool available to help you get the most out of TechEd is the schedule builder ( North America ; Europe ). There, you can sort the more than 400 sessions and 200 hands-on labs to build a customized learning experience. Take advantage of a deep discount and sign up for one of Microsoft’s on-site certification exams: registered TechEd attendees receive 50% off the regular price ( North America ; Europe ) and have access to study halls, exam prep sessions and Microsoft Certified Trainers.
- Channel 9: Maybe this is your first time attending TechEd and you’re not sure where to begin? The Channel 9 discussion forums for both North America and Europe have you covered. The forums are a great opportunity to engage with the TechEd community and get involved. From event-day tips, FAQs, or attendees just looking to travel with someone from the same part of the world, you can get great feedback in the forum.
- Peer-to-Peer Interaction: Peer-to-peer interaction is what makes TechEd such a special event. It’s the best opportunity for you to connect – and reconnect – with YOUR peers across industries and around the world. Make sure to explore the TechExpo and get the latest information from Microsoft and our exhibitors and sponsors. Exchange ideas with other attendees and get personalized answers to your burning questions. And of course, don’t forget the closing party where you can unwind after your busy week and meet with colleagues and friends!
