I am a Program Manager on the System Center Configuration Manager Sustained Engineering Team (ConfigMgr SE). I started at Microsoft as a vendor in 1997 working in helpdesk and soon found myself working in Microsoft IT with the Windows 2000 Beta deployments. Before long I was learning how to use SMS 2.0 and owning the corporate logon script. I had the pleasure of seeing SMS evolve from being used for basic inventory asset reporting into a core part of the services offered by Microsoft IT. I became a full time employee in May 2002. I worked a few more years in IT before moving to the Microsoft Management Services team developing managed desktop services which offered services to a few selected external customers.
I joined the ConfigMgr SE team in January 2008 and the key business areas that I drive is the monthly security update releases (verifying all is well for our customers before each release) and driving application compatibility support for releases of new externals (such as a new Windows or SQL Service Pack).
