Seasoned professionals might view a 5-minute boot-up sequence as the perfect opportunity to get a cup of coffee. But the freshest talent entering the workforce — modern workers who grew up with tablets and smartphones — are less than impressed by high-friction workplace device experiences.

We're excited to share this new, short video that should help everyone rally around a common vision of a fantastic workplace device experience  one where:

  • Devices boot in seconds and work right out of the box.
  • Workgroups meet and share files using the latest productivity and collaboration tools.
  • Data protection, backups and restoration happens seamlessly and automatically.

That's the driving vision behind Microsoft Managed Desktop.

We believe our mission to delight end users is just as important — and just as achievable — as protecting your organization's data from ever-evolving threats. And we believe our accelerated path to digital transformation will empower your IT talent to focus on technical innovation that improves your core business.

We designed Microsoft Managed Desktop to establish a "new normal" in workplace computing, and we're already helping customers harness this new reality to transform their organizations.

If you like our vision, then be sure to share the video with your colleagues, subscribe to our blog, and contact us to learn more.

It was first released in 1983 and is one of Microsoft Office suite’s applications. Word is one of the most widely used and familiar pieces of office software in the world. It has grown in power and complexity over the years, and its integration with Office 365 and Microsoft  OneDrive makes it even more versatile for businesses, both large and small.

Microsoft Word is a sophisticated word processing application program specially designed for performing various word processing tasks, such as editing, typing, and printing. Love it! What’s normal for technology people isn’t still normal for an average company. Please share and promote. The video captures the style of modern workplace in a very nice way. Excellent look and feel.

  • MayankMMD  - MMD helps provide additional clear guidance, check lists, project plans, environment setup automation, and ITIL process frameworks in addition to the normal Fast Track and customer acceleration programs available to M365 customers. Feedback from our customers has been that these engagements have been the fastest route to a modern environment vs figuring out the process on their own. MMD will allow line of business applications in the environment, and will consider other third party tools that do not detriment the quality of the service. You can read more about that here: MMD Documentation.

This seems interesting but how are they going to take care of current infrastructure and migrating everything to cloud? Will this also be a part of MMD services. What about third party tools in which organization has already invested and what to carry them forward along with Microsoft 365 services.
