There are many people that have TEST ANXIETY, so its not that they can't complete the questions proficiently but that test taking makes them extremely nervous. This can HELP ease that anxiety quite a bit.
I know that recently I had the same issue start to creep up on me in where previously I had completed 23 Microsoft certifications without ANY issue. It all started with COVID-19, when exams went virtual. I was fine with it all until I had to renew my MS-700. I schedule the exam, went to take it, had spoken to the exam company about my special accommodation --- I have Cystic Fibrosis and unfortunately that day I was put on IV antibiotics that I can do at home (I have a cath port). I let them know that I had a medical device that could potentially need to be looked over if it beeps, etc. They had told me that was okay. But the comptroller failed me immediately when the device did in fact BEEP to tell me the medication had completed and I could disconnect. I was LIVID about that. I did retake it (they evaluated the situation and granted me a voucher to retake) when I was not on IV abx, passed it with 932. But that situation then created a complete NERVOUSNESS in me I had never experienced before and every virtual test after that was a NIGHTMARE.
This really can help to ease the anxiety quite a bit. Because for me it wasn't that I didn't KNOW the answers, it was the anxiety that caused a sort of mental fog. And you just might experience that type of situation because of anxiety and nothing else. Knowing this option is available for those situations can be a lifesaver!
