New Copilot Prompt Gallery helps you discover, save, and share your favorite prompts

Copilot Prompt Gallery (formerly known as Copilot Lab) enables all AI users at work to share their prompting success and find inspiration from others, supporting organizations on their quest to drive widespread AI adoption in the workplace. Today at Ignite, we’re excited to announce new features designed to drive AI value and engagement:    

Discover, save, and share prompts for Microsoft 365 Copilot + agents.  

Now generally available, Copilot Prompt Gallery empowers users to create, save, and share their favorite Microsoft 365 Copilot prompts with colleagues. Now you can share great prompts that help you prepare for a customer meeting or generate ideas for a new product launch. And leaders across your organization can showcase how they’re using Copilot by sharing their favorite prompts to save time or tackle any task at hand.  

And today we’re expanding on this value to include prompts for agents. Agents supercharge Copilot – adding specialized skills and knowledge while automating specific tasks at hand. Now in Copilot Prompt Gallery, users can discover prompts for agents provided by their organization that are tailored to specific roles, functions, and tasks. And later this year, they will be able to save and share these prompts to inspire others on the team.  

 

Copilot Prompt Gallery allows you to share prompts via copy link, email, or a Microsoft Teams team. Prompts shared to a Microsoft Teams team can be accessed in the new 'Prompts' tab for discovery and engagement.
Stay up to date on the most popular Copilot prompts within your organization.  

New and popular prompt lists will be introduced soon to keep users informed about the latest and most popular prompts from their colleagues. Users have the option to “like” their preferred prompts to influence prompt leaderboards. Whether you’re a new user exploring Copilot's capabilities or a returning user looking for inspiration, these prompt leaderboards offer a way to discover valuable prompts tailored to your work.

Discover all prompt collections in the new Copilot Prompt Gallery app within Microsoft 365.  

The new Copilot Prompt Gallery app provides a central place to find, save, and share prompts available from Microsoft 365 Copilot apps and agents. You can also explore and use a curated selection of suggested prompts organized by role, function, or industry. This app will be rolling out by the end of this year and will be available on Teams, Outlook and www.microsoft365.com

    The somewhat „confusing“ message about the postponement of the introduction:
    „Summary
    Microsoft 365 Copilot users with a license will soon be able to share BizChat prompts as links. The rollout begins late December 2025 and completes early January 2026. No admin action is required, but reviewing configurations and notifying users is advised. Shared prompts can be managed and exported by administrators.“

    I am waiting for the very interesting features and I saw that the schedule for the introduction of the feature MC920305 (share..) has been postponed.

    Can you let us know where exactly the saved prompts will be stored?

    Thank you very much. I'm sure many people have been waiting for the “Save” and “Share” functions.

    You write that the new Copilot Prompt Gallery with the new features will be rolled out at the end of the year. The following points should be taken into account, which do not work properly even without Copilot Prompt Gallery:

    • The prompts can only be saved with the “Questions” task
    • Prompts are not saved within Copilot Lab
    • Shared prompts cannot be managed

    It's great to hear about updates in the prompt area 😀. However, I am unclear about the difference between what I can see and do when I click "view prompt" in Bizchat or the Copilot app in Teams, compared to when I click "see all prompts" and am directed to the Copilot Lab, now the Copilot Prompt Library. Additionally, what is the purpose of introducing a team app for trending prompts? As an end user, I would like to have all prompts and features such as save, share, and see trending prompts, as well as the option for an organization to recommend org-wide prompts  integrated into my workflow  in Teams, Bizchat, or any other office app via the view prompt UI, where I need to type in the prompt.
