We are announcing support changes for the following releases. These changes will be reflected in the Configuration Manager 2007 SP2 Supported Configurations and System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Supported Configurations topics within the next month.
System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1 now supports Microsoft Application Virtualization 5.0 Service Pack 1.
No software updates are required.
Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 2, System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1, and System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection Service Pack 1 now support Windows Embedded 8
The following SKUs of Windows Embedded 8 are supported:
- Windows Embedded 8 Standard
- Windows Embedded 8 Industry

* Known Issue:
Windows Embedded 8 Standard has a new write filter type, the Unified Write Filter (UWF) which is not supported by System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1. Therefore the built-in features for write filter management will not work with UWF.
