Dell announces new solution for Windows Server 2012 R2

Last week Dell announced the Dell Wyse Datacenter for Microsoft VDI and vWorkspace that can scale from ten to tens of thousands of seats. Dell’s platform supports the RemoteFX virtual graphics processing unit to provide a great end user experience, and demonstrates how the experience can be expanded with GPU acceleration.

In addition, Dell published a reference architecture guide providing in-depth information about this solution including:

· Performance testing

· Various deployment options (session-based or virtual machine-based desktop deployments)

· Value of de-duplication
