What do you like best about Dooap’s AP Automation for Dynamics 365 Finance?
One of the key drivers for our transition to Dooap’s Accounts Payable Automation for Dynamics 365 Finance was the automation of our purchase order process. Approximately 80 percent to 90 percent of our invoices are purchase order-based. So, for us to be able to have them auto-flow and reduce manual effort has been a huge benefit. Previously, we employed a double approval process where our branch managers had to approve the purchase orders in Dynamics 365 and subsequently in our accounts payable software, resulting in unnecessary steps. Now, with the three-way match, the invoices flow automatically without requiring intervention. Nobody needs to touch or maneuver them in any way.
How has the solution helped your organization?
Dooap connects directly with our Dynamics 365 ERP software. There's no lag or risk of things being missed or dropped. The moment an approver authorizes an invoice, it is immediately transferred into our system for payment, which has been wonderful.
We have received positive feedback from our users, many of whom utilize the mobile app. The application is readily available on Hobart service phones, making it user-friendly and convenient. I use it myself, and it is very straightforward and user-friendly.
As for the analytics, I don't think we've even scratched the surface of what it can do. My goal is to dive deeper into the analytics and see what else it has to offer that we can utilize. My favorite feature is setting metrics for my team and receiving automatic analytics from the software.
How are customer service and support?
I cannot say enough good things about the Dooap support team. They work very well with our IT team. It was very important to us that we not use a lot of our IT team's resources and time, and the Dooap support staff met this requirement effortlessly. Also, it is great to work with support staff who listen to you. They are receptive to feedback, and many of our suggestions for features and improvements have been implemented.
Any recommendations or insights to others considering this solution?
We highly recommend Dooap. In today's automated world, having AP automation is essential for operational efficiency. In my opinion, if you don't have AP automation, you're not doing yourself a favor.
