Replacement course: MS-4022: Extend Microsoft 365 Copilot in Copilot Studio

As part of the process to evolve the role of actions in M365 Copilot Studio, changes have been made to the publishing process for Copilot Studio actions. The result is after completing all the steps in MS-4009: Extend Microsoft 365 Copilot Studio actions and connectors, the learner is unable to publish and see their completed work. Where other issues might have a workaround, this issue is expected to continue causing significant learner dissatisfaction. Therefore, we have made the decision to retire MS-4009 and replace it with a brand-new course, MS-4022: Extend Microsoft 365 Copilot in Copilot Studio, targeted for release in April 2025.

We strongly recommend not scheduling any further deliveries of MS-4009. This course will be retired on March 31st, 2025.

In the meantime, learners should consider the following courses as similar--though not an exact replacement for MS-4009:

MS-4010 Build plugins and connectors for Microsoft 365 Copilot

For developers, this course teaches how to extend Microsoft 365 Copilot

PL-7008 Create custom agents in Copilot Studio

For makers, this course teaches learners to build stand-alone (not Microsoft 365) agents in Copilot Studio
