My name is Claude Lorenson, I am a Group Product Manager at Microsoft. I have been working on the storage workload in the Windows Server Product Management team for the last three year. Our team is responsible for the product strategy and the market positioning of Microsoft file and block storage technologies in the Windows server platform and for the storage partners’ eco-system.

We are currently working on the next generation of storage features for upcoming releases of Windows Server. In this webcast, I will describe the benefits to customers of the Simple SAN initiative we have launched with partners. I will also describe how the new storage features in the R2 release of Windows Server 2003 integrates with the EqualLogic storage arrays and the overall benefits of the EqualLogic complete, turn key solution designed for simple, fast and easy deployments and maintenance specifically for Windows environments.
