Can’t generate a DFS Replication diagnostic report? Check your Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration settings

This came up in the DFS_FRS newsgroup recently. A customer reported that the health report showed “Report Loading, Please wait...” but never generated. Here are the instructions for fixing this.

1. Go to Add / Remove Programs > Add / Remove Windows Components.

2. Find Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration and highlight it.

3. Click Details .

4. You will see two check boxes For administrator groups and For all other user groups .

5. Make sure For Administrator groups is not checked. If it is, uncheck it and re-run the diagnostic report.
