  • I agree with ASGI.  That feature would be nice.  I have two data centers that are highly connected <1ms response times and an AD site that spans them for Exchange.  It would be nice if it distributed the active copies across both sites.  I just unchecked the site resilient option and use it as if I was in a single site since logically it appears that way in my environment.

  • Thanks!

An additional enhancement that would be great to see in a future release would be database distribution that reflects an Active/Active (Single DAG) deployment when this is selected as the Site Resilient Configuration.  Currently the database distribution tab places all active databases in one site regardless of the user distribution model that is selected.  For example, for a site resilient Active/Active DAG with 4 copies of all databases it would be very helpful if the calculator had the option of creating the distribution based on the active copies being evenly distributed across both sites, the passive copy that has an activation preference of 2 being in the same site, and databases with an activation preference of 3&4 being in the other site.
