Released: Update Rollup 3 For Exchange 2010 Service Pack 3

The Exchange team is announcing today the availability of Update Rollup 3 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3. Update Rollup 3 is the latest rollup of customer fixes available for Exchange Server 2010. The release contains fixes for customer reported issues and previously released security bulletins. Update Rollup 3 is not considered a security release as it contains no new previously unreleased security bulletins. A complete list of issues resolved in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3 Update Rollup 3 may be found in KB2891587.

    For Category view bug in Outlook (Mode Online), a KB will be release in few days.

    The bug isn't present in Outlook Cache Mode.

    A workarround is to create an Outlook rule (with ECP or Outlook client) which apply a default category to all new mail.

    Indeed the bug will be fix in RU6.

    category view bug will be fixed in RU6 which is scheduled for mid 2014, there will be an IU update to address the issue in the mean time

    I have the Categories issue too after installing RU3 and running outlook 2010. any idea when the next service pack is out ?

    Just tested with IE11 in our test env.  I was running 2010 SP3, upgraded to RU1, RU2, RU3, and RU4 when they came out.  I have the same issue with the automatic replys and signature not showing up in IE11 unless switch to compatibility view.

    @Karsten Nilsen, @Justin: Same problem here with "sort by categories" not refreshing. I opened a PSS call (#113121111017856) and the MS supporter confirmed that the issue shows up in RU3 but not in RU2. Can you post your call numbers so that we can link the calls together to have a better visibility?
