    Hi, all:

I checked the July 1, 2025 product list around 8:30 (U.S. Pacific Time), and Exchange Server SE licenses with Software Assurance were not on it.

    • Is there a delay to the general availability of Exchange Server SE?
    • Should we be expecting the licenses in Aug. 2025?

    Thanks,

    Rob

What is the point of telling us it will cost X% more, when you still do not publicly exposes prices of a Exchange SE Server License, and Exchange SE Standard / Enteprise CAL?

X% more of nothing does not help companies take decisions.

I get what you are asking but - we never (literally, as I was one of two people there when this blog started) post pricing on our blog. Exchange is not something people "add to shopping cart" on our web site. Pricing can vary based on your specific licensing agreement, user profile, and deployment scenario. So my best advice is to connect directly with your Microsoft account team or licensing partner for the most accurate information that applies to your situation.

There is a disconnect though, because the sales channel is just as confused as the end-users are.

My vendor says they have no updates regarding pricing on what it will cost to go to Exchange SE and that they are consistently asking their contacts for clarification on that fact.  As an on-premise customer, how can we determine a path forward for costs and timelines when we still don't have a concrete set of costs and the EOL is less than 6 months away?

  • Hi,
Will there also be a new Exchange training/certification with the release of Exchange Server SE?

    Kind regards,
    Arjan
