The_Exchange_Team Getting familiar with the new EAC - great work so far. Maybe you can explain the thought and plan behind the Alert policies in EAC.
I see https://security.microsoft.com/alertpolicies mentions that Mail flow alerts have moved to the new Exchange admin center. Starting Oct 2021, customers will only be able to create/view/edit mail flow alerts in the new Exchange admin center. However in the new EAC I can only find the following insights:
While the has many more Activities to choose from related to email:
1) Will all these more complex Alert policies related to email be moved to the new EAC eventually or will the security related alerts be kept in security.microsoft.com?
2) On that matter, what is the thought behind the reason to put this in the new EAC instead of keeping it in security.microsoft.com? We see more and more features move INTO the security.microsoft.com portal but these are moving OUT of it. How come?
Hope that you can shed some light on this so we know the roadmap going forward since we use alert policies extensively for many of our customers.
