Q:
What does REBASE mean?
A:
Applying the DST2007 update to the Windows OS will impact Outlook/Exchange appointments which were scheduled prior to applying the DST2007 update. This causing the instances of the appointments that occur during three weeks in March and one week at the end of October and beginning of November to be off by one hour. Two tools for Outlook and Exchange (referred to as rebasing tools) are available which will allow users/administrators to adjust – or ‘rebase’ – these appointments. See
