Q: We ran the rebase tool on the machine and did not have the patch. We are patching the machine and going to re-run the rebase again. Can we suppress the emails being sent and will this fix the appointments without sending emails again?
A: The OS must be patched on the machine that the tool is run on. The tool uses the new TZ keys to determine what needs to move. Any meeting that gets moved on behalf of the originator will send meeting updates. This is the normal behavior of the tool.
