We were excited to announce the preview of Azure Managed Redis at Microsoft Ignite 2024, a first party, in-memory database solution designed for developers building the next generation of GenAI applications. This new offering combines the latest Redis innovations with the reliability, security, and industry-leading availability1 of Azure's trusted cloud platform.

What’s new with Azure Managed Redis? 

With Azure Managed Redis, developers can achieve up to 15x greater throughput performance, making it ideal for handling even the most demanding workloads. The solution introduces enterprise-grade features across four new tiers3, offering flexibility to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes. Cache creation times are now up to 3.1x faster 2, accelerating deployment timelines, while scaling is up to 2.2x faster2, adapting to growing demands. Best of all, these advancements come at a significantly lower cost compared to the current Azure Cache for Redis offering.
