Catching up with our fellow MS Bloggers

It occurred to me that with so many technical blogs out there, that it might be useful to bring you some posts from our fellow bloggers here at Microsoft that have been published recently …

If you haven’t been keeping up with our colleagues over at the Terminal Services blog, then you may have missed some extremely useful information that they’ve posted over the last couple of months, including a very cool troubleshooting walkthrough of an odd Terminal Services Gateway issue: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Desktop

Even though Internet Explorer support has transitioned over to our colleagues in the Developer Support, that doesn’t mean that we still don’t keep an eye on what’s going on over in IE.  They’ve been extremely busy spreading the word about Internet Explorer 8 … check out some of what’s new:

Mark Russinovich needs no introduction – if you haven’t had a chance to read his blog, I strongly recommend spending some time going through his posts.  Mark’s blogging has had to take a back seat to his work on v5 of Windows Internals, but his last post is on a topic near and dear to our hearts (at least on the Performance team!): The Case of the Slooooow System .

Raymond Chen’s blog covers a multitude of topics – everything from debugging to email etiquette.  He is also one of the most prolific bloggers at Microsoft.  Here’s just a few of his recent posts:

• The dangers of setting your double-click speed too short

And finally, there’s a new “must-read” blog out there – the Engineering Windows 7 blog which is hosted by the two senior engineering managers for the Windows 7 product, Jon DeVaan and Steven Sinofsky .  This is definitely one of those blogs that you want to start reading now if you want to understand the how and why of Windows 7.
